Peruvian-born Jorge B grew up in Costa Rica where he was first exposed to electronic music during the late 90s. Later in life he spent time in Texas, where he was influenced by the monumental minimal art of Donald Judd and John Chamberlain. Since then, he has settled in NYC where he works as a visual artist. To Jorge, images and music go hand in hand, and his architectural approach can be felt in the rugged, acid-tinged production of his first release, a four-track EP entitled Orchid.
